Announcing New Coaching Credential

Scottsdale/New York, May 8, 2007       Life and Business Coach Lillian Coury is proud that she helps her clients achieve great results by adopting the coaching ideals as stated by the International Coach Federation:

”Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives.  Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives.

Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs.”

The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the largest worldwide resource for business and personal coaches, and the source for those who are seeking a coach. The ICF is a nonprofit, individual membership organization formed by professionals worldwide who practice business and personal coaching.

The ICF exists to Build, Support and Preserve the integrity of the coaching profession through programs and standards supported by the individual membership and developed the first universally accepted Accreditation process which preserves the integrity of coaching through standardized credentials that assists consumers in choosing professional coaches.

Lillian Coury is proud to announce that she has now achieved the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC), the second in the three-tier accreditation process.

This is what the PCC Certificate states:

“This designation is earned by demonstrating knowledge and proficient use of core coaching skills through a comprehensive application and exam process designed to ensure high standards for the coaching profession and the clients it serves.”

Coaching is big business!  The Harvard Business School Journal reported in 2002 that coaching had turned into a major growth industry in the U.S.  The Economist reported that same year that coaching was growing by at least 40 percent a year.  FLI Research also reported that Fortune 500 companies are investing about $2 billion a year on executive coaching.  Productivity increases and higher levels of effectiveness are the products of coaching, thus making coaching a sound investment with a great ROI.
